We don’t need to tell you the importance of speaking fluent English. Shrewd (adjective)
Meaning-clever at understanding and making judgments about a situation (चालाक)
Synonym-astute, clever, sharp, canny
Antonym-stupid, naïve, unwise, foolish
Example-He is too shrewd to be discomposed by such conversation.
 
Farce (noun)
Meaning-a situation or an event that is so unfair or badly organized that it becomes silly (स्वांग)
Synonym- travesty, comedy, mockery, joke
Antonym- ballet, advantage, answer, solution
Example-Life is the farce which everyone has to perform.
 
Aftermath (noun)
Meaning-the situation that exists as a result of an important (and usually unpleasant) event, especially a war, an accident, etc. (परिणाम)
Synonym-consequence, effect, outcome, wake
Antonym-antecedent, cause, root, basis
Example-Food prices soared in the aftermath of the drought.

Rhetoric (noun)
Meaning-speech or writing that is intended to influence people, but that is not completely honest or sincere (वक्रपटुता)
Synonym-oratory, eloquence, grandiloquence, elocution
Antonym-quiet, conciseness, gibberish, silence
Example-Rhetoric is cheap, evidence comes more dearly.
 
Bequeath (verb)
Meaning-to say in a will that you want somebody to have your property, money, etc. after you die (वसीयत)
Synonym-leave, will, devise, endow
Antonym-disown, rob, beg, deprive
Example-Didn't you bequeath your debt to us?
 
Cite (verb)
Meaning-to speak or write the exact words from a book (अदालतमेंतलबकरना)
Synonym- quote, mention, name, refer
Antonym- forget, hide, enclose, ignore
Example-He does not cite any source for this assertion.
 
Avatar (noun)
Meaning-a god appearing in a physical form (अवतार)
Synonym-embodiment, incarnation, epitome, manifestation
Antonym-begger, bloke, being, body
Example-His avatar is more useful to us.
 
Puppet (noun)
Meaning- a model of a person or an animal that can be made to move, for example by pulling strings attached to parts of its body or by putting your hand inside it (कठपुतली)
Synonym- pawn, tool, stooge, doll
Antonym-superstar, rule-breaker, puppet master, guardian
Example-He crushed the carefully constructed puppet in his fist.
 
Coterie (noun)
Meaning-a small group of people who have the same interests and do things together but do not like to include others
Synonym-Coterie, gang, circle, group
Antonym-collection, array, cram, company
Example-Obviously, the difference was pocketed by the ruling coterie.

Sabbatical (noun)
Meaning-a period of time when somebody, especially a teacher at a university, is allowed to stop their normal work in order to study or travel (विश्राम)
Synonym- vacation, leave, holiday, furlough
Antonym-chores, work, craft, calling
Example-He is currently on sabbatical in South Asia.
