There are two stages for IBPS PO: preliminary and main. All of the three parts of the preliminary test take twenty minutes and sum up to one hour. In total there are 100 questions, which sums up to 100 marks. Every wrong answer involves deduction of 0.25 marks. Qualifying candidates go to the three hour and thirty minute Mains Exam after the Prelims. A Mains Exam with 225 possible marks is an aggregate paper that comprises objective as well as descriptive-type tests.
