RBI Grade B Mains Exam Date Out 2024: Checkout Complete Details

The RBI Grade B Exam dates for Phase 1 and Phase 2 have been released. The Phase 1 of DEPR/DSIM was on September 14, 2024, whereas that of General post took place on September 8, 2024. Phase 2 for General post would be on October 19, 2024, whereas the date for DEPR/DSIM is October 26, 2024. The job recruitment will be done for Grade B Officers in the Reserve Bank of India.

The RBI Grade B Mains Exam Date 2024 and result of the phase 1 were declared by the RBI, wherein all those who have successfully cleared the phase 1 exam shall have the opportunity to appear for the RBI Grade B Mains Exam on 19th October 2024, once more in two shifts. The mains exam takes place online, and the intimation for the call letter is issued through an e-mail 7-10 days prior to the date of the examination.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern Summary

Exam Stage:

The RBI Grade B exam consists of three parts: Prelims, Mains, and Interview.

Prelims Exam:

• Total Marks: 200 makrs.

Sections:

• General Awareness: Tests knowledge of current affairs and important events.
• Reasoning Ability: Assesses logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• English Language: Focuses on language comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar.
• Quantitative Aptitude: Evaluates mathematical skills and data interpretation.

Mains Exam:

• Total Marks: 300 marks.

Papers:

• Paper-I: Economic and Social Issues - Covers economic concepts and social issues.

RBI Grade B Interview 2024

Based on the aggregate marks obtained in Paper I, Paper II and Paper III in Phase II Examination, candidates will be considered for interview. Interview process will carry 75 marks.

Shortlisting criteria:

• The candidates shall be shortlisted for the interview from the aggregate marks obtained in Phase 2, i.e., Paper 1 + Paper 2 + Paper 3.

Marks in the Interview:

• The interview will carry a total of 75 marks.

Psychometric Test:

• Before the interview, the candidates have to undergo the Psychometric Test conducted by the Bank. This is an unmarking procedure and does not feature in the final select list.

Language for Interview:

• Candidates can choose any one of the languages currently in use at the place of interview, either Hindi or English.
