The RRB has increased the vacancies from 9144 to 14298 on 22 August 2024. The technical vacancies issued by the RRB have increased recently. The count of RRB Technician vacancy has gone up to 14,298 vacancy openings. Out of these 8,051 is classified under Technician Grade 3 and 1,092 is identified for Technician Grade 1 Signal. 9,144 was the number of posts that was initially identified as open for Technician posts.
According to the notice pdf, the RRB CBT Exam will be conducted either in October or November Month of 2024. First of all, there will be a computer-based online written test in the selection process under RRB Technician Recruitment 2024. After that, document verification and medical examination will be carried out.
Written Exam
The RRB, through its recent notice, increased the vacancy count of open technician posts to 14,298 from 9,144 for the year 2024. This would also include Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3 technician posts. Computer-based test shall also be added to the recruitment along with document verification and medical assessment. Dates to remember: Online registration: March 9–April 8; CBT: October/November 2024. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official websites of RRBs periodically for updates on examination dates and other details.
