Seattle University is giving scholarships to Indian students interested in pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) program at the university's School of Law. The Remala Family Scholarship initiative will grant a full-tuition scholarship to one Indian student each year so that they can complete their degree.
According to the institution, the grant is offered to meritorious students who demonstrate financial necessity. The Remala Family Fellows will get academic help and mentoring in addition to tuition. The application procedure is now open on the Seattle University of Law website.
The LLM program at Seattle University Law provides two choices. A technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship oriented LLM that allows attorneys and recent law graduates to build specific knowledge in a range of legal issues such as privacy law, data and cybersecurity, Internet law and digital commerce, financial technology, and artificial intelligence.
The other course is a general LLM in American legal studies, which is designed for foreign-trained lawyers and graduates of non-US law schools who desire to understand US law and/or take qualifying tests to practice law in the US.
