Tandon achieved victory for her album Triveni along with collaborators Wouter Kellerman (South African flutist) and Eru Matsumoto (Japanese cellist) by outperforming other reputable nominees which included Ricky Kej and Anoushka Shankar. Following multiple Grammy nomination attempts Tandon achieved her first Grammy win on this occasion.
