The Readiness for Frontier Technologies Index ranked India higher this year as the country moved up from 48th place in 2022 to 36th position among 170 countries for 2024 indicating improved readiness to embrace emerging technologies. According to the report India shows scientific strength in AI which places the nation on par with global AI leaders alongside the US, China, Germany and the UK.
