When India celebrates Republic Day in 2025, President Droupadi Murmu will invite the nation’s colorful craftsmanship to the famed reception. This year, the event will incorporate the different and complex beautiful knit and crocheted products originating from the south Indian states and honoring the rich heritage and craftsmanship of India’s artisans. Some of the most attractive invitation designs caught my attention and showed how creative some of South India’s crafts are and how much culture they hold.
The Republic Day reception is a really good opportunity for the world to show its appreciation for the Indian artisans who work with commitment and pride, owing to their passion to keep the age-old art forms that were inherited from their forefathers alive.

Ceramics as craft works or printed cloth art.

Endorses the traditional weaving of natural fibers that have always been part of the tradition in Kerala.
