Shri Om Birla serves as the Lok Sabha Speaker who heads an IPU Parliamentary Delegation to Tashkent for the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union from April 5 to April 9, 2025. Multiple discussions at the high-level level about “Parliamentary Action for Social Development and Justice” will take place. The General Debate of the Assembly welcomes Shri Birla who also plans to meet other national parliamentary representatives.
