The Maharashtra government has come forward to formulate an Artificial Intelligence policy that could make Maharashtra the first state in India to develop the state AI Policy 2025 with further correlates to the India AI Mission and spearhead the industrial development, innovation, and digital economy development in Maharashtra, a new 16-member committee has been formed.
