Hyderabad to Host India's First Google Safety Engineering Centre (GSEC)

To improve Safety on the Internet Google is now preparing to launch the first Safety Engineering Centre (GSEC) in Hyderabad. It will be fifth such center of Google in the world and the first one in the Asia-Pacific region other than Tokyo. The centre will therefore be responsible for the invention of security technologies that operate under AI and safer experience across the-company’s-products, particularly with the help of cybersecurity specialists.

The drive, in conjunction with the Telangana government, is to develop home-grown talent, create employment and enhancing India’s footprint in the global technology sector. That is why GSEC will also focus on developing unique privacy and security solutions designed for Indian users, which will become the new benchmark for cybersecurity in the country.
