REET Exam 2024 Overview

REET is conducted by RBSE at two levels: Level 1 meant for Classes 1 to 5, and Level 2 for Classes 6 to 8. An aspirant has to qualify for both levels to teach Classes 1 to 8 in Rajasthan. REET 2024 Application Process

Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, RBSE will start the online application process for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test, REET 2024. The REET 2024 Application Form will be available once the official REET 2024 Notification is released at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates would be registering online for REET, making the payment for the application fee and uploading the documents, followed by the complete form. Check the eligibility criteria given below before filling out the application form.

Candidates can apply for only one level, either for Primary Teacher (Level 1, Classes 1 to 5) or for Upper Primary Teacher (Level 2, Classes 6 to 8), or for both levels. For one level, the fee is ₹ 550/- and ₹ 750/- if a candidate applies for both levels. Payment should be made prior to the deadline; otherwise, the application shall not be entertained.

Steps to Apply for REET 2024

The online process to apply for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher 2024 is as follows.

  • Open the website for REET 2024.
  • Click on the link for the Challan for Examination Fee. A window will open containing options - Level 1, Level 2, and Both Levels.
  • You have to click to the form which you are applying to.
  • Fill in the information in the form. Along with that, select a payment option.
  • After generation of Challan, keep noting the number of challans, Username, and Password.
  • Click on the link and fill the Application Form.
  • Login with Challan number, mother's name, and Date of Birth.
  • Application form appears, Fill all details.
  • Pay the Application Fee by Challan.

REET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

If you want to become a primary or upper primary teacher in Rajasthan, then you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test-RE Teacher Eligibility Test, 2024. Eligibility for REET Paper 1 Primary Teachers, Classes 1-5

To become Primary Teacher candidate must pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and:

  • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education - passed or appearing in final year
  • OR 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education - passed or appearing in final year
  • OR 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) - passed or appearing in final year
  • OR Graduation with passing or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

Eligibility for REET Paper 2 Upper Primary Teachers, Classes 6-8

To become Upper Primary Teacher, candidates must complete their graduation and:

  • Passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed
  • Or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed
  • Or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE
  • Or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
  • Or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
  • Or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Note: The candidates must make sure they are qualified enough regarding their educations, age limit, and also with the essential documents for verification before applying.

REET 2024 Exam Pattern

REET examination falls into two categories: Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 is designed for those aspirants who want to teach primary classes from class 1 to 5; applicants in Level 2 will be teaching upper primary classes from 6 to 8. The Board of Secondary Education (BSER) will soon release the provisional answer key for the REET 2024 exam, covering both Level 1 and Level 2, on their official website. If candidates find any discrepancies or errors in the provisional answer key, they can raise objections by paying ₹300 per question and providing supporting evidence. After considering these objections, the final answer key and exam results will be published. Minimum Qualifying Marks Required to Clear REET 2024

It is the minimum qualifying marks that a candidate needs to obtain to pass the examination. There is no cut-off criterion but there are minimum qualifying marks that have to be achieved by candidates to consider them passed in the examination. After securing the qualifying marks, it will issue an Eligibility Certificate to all successful candidates. REET qualifying marks vary category-wise, hence for general and reserved categories such as ST, SC, OBC, MBC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen, Widow, PwD, Sahariya Jan-Jati. REET 2024 Result

After the evaluation process, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will declare the REET 2024 Results.
