REET 2025 Exams on 27 Feb, Latest Updates on Admit Card, Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus & More

The REET exam dates were released along with the REET Notification on the official website, of the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER). The registrations for examination were closed on 15th January 2025.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has released the REET application form inviting applicants to register for the examination between December 16, 2024, and January 15, 2025. The REET Admit card is expected to be released officially on 19th February 2025 (16:00 Hrs onwards) as mentioned in the REET Notification PDF. With the Updated REET schedule the correction window has been made available from 17th January 2025 (00:00 Hrs) to 19th January 2025 (23:59 Hrs). Furthermore, the number of REET vacancies is not officially announced, but based on the previous year's examination in 2022, more than 48,000 vacancies are expected this year.

REET 2025

Aspirants meeting the REET 2025 eligibility criteria must apply online to participate in the exam. REET 2025 exam is expected to be held on February 27, 2025, and will be conducted in two levels, The first is Paper-1 for those who want to teach in primary schools (classes I to V), and the second is Paper-2 for those who would like to teach in upper primary classes (classes VI to VIII). REET Exam Notification 2025: Key Dates and Details 

REET 2025 is an annual examination that candidates who dream of becoming teachers in Rajasthan state must pass. It will be conducted at two levels: a basic Level 1 for Primary Teachers in grades 1 to 5 and an advanced Level 2 for Upper Primary Teachers in grades 6 to 8. To be employed as a teacher in Rajasthan, one is supposed to sit and pass the REET exam. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) released the official notification for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2025. The REET Application form was released on December 16, 2024, and the last date to fill out the REET 2025 Application Form was January 15, 2025.

 

The REET 2025 examination is going to be organized on 27 February 2025. The application form was officially announced through the RBSE which can be viewed on the website rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Registering accurately for the examination is one of the most important aspects for candidates. Although the REET Correction window is provided, candidates need to pay an additional Rs. 200 for correcting the form. REET Application Process 2025

The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted on 27th February 2025 for which the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) had already started the registration process which closed recently on 15th January 2025. The application form will be available on its official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in/. Candidates have to register their form, pay application fees, upload the scanned documents, and submit the form properly. 

Candidates can apply for only one level, either for Primary Teacher (Level 1, Classes 1 to 5) or for Upper Primary Teacher (Level 2, Classes 6 to 8), or both levels. For one level, the fee is Rs. 550/- and for Levele 2 the fee would be Rs. 550/- if a candidate applies for both levels. Payment of Rs. 750 should be made before the deadline; otherwise, the application shall not be entertained or would be rejected.

Steps to Apply for REET 2025 Examination

The candidates can apply only through online mode and on the government website. The online process to apply for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher 2025 is as follows.

  • Open the website RBSE, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in..
  • Click on the link for the Challan for Examination Fee. A window will open containing options - Level 1, Level 2, and Both Levels.
  • You have to click to the form which you are applying to.
  • Fill in the information in the form. Along with that, select a payment option.
  • After generation of Challan, keep noting the number of challans, Username, and Password.
  • Click on the link and fill the Application Form.
  • Login with Challan number, mother's name, and Date of Birth.
  • Application form appears, Fill all details.
  • Pay the Application Fee by Challan.
  • Submit the form and take the hard copy for reference.

REET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Suppose you want to become a primary or upper primary teacher in government schools in Rajasthan. In that case, you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test-RE Teacher Eligibility Test, 2025. Below is provided a simplified explanation of the academic qualification required for the test in simple words:

Eligibility for REET Paper 1 Primary Teachers, Classes 1-5

To become Primary Teacher candidate must pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and:

  • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education - passed or appearing in final year, OR
  • 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education - passed or appearing in final year, OR
  • 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) - passed or appearing in final year, OR
  • Graduation with passing or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Eligibility for REET Paper 2 Upper Primary Teachers, Classes 6-8

  • To become Upper Primary Teacher, candidates must complete their graduation and:
  • Passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, Or
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed, Or
  • Appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed, Or 
  • Appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), Or
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), Or
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed., Or
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Note: The candidates must make sure they are qualified enough regarding their educations, age limit, and also with the essential documents for verification before applying.

REET Exam Pattern 2025

REET examination falls into two categories: Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 is designed for those aspirants who want to teach primary classes from classes 1 to 5; applicants in Level 2 will be teaching upper primary classes from 6 to 8. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education is going to conduct the exam REET 2025, and due preparation should be started from now onwards. REET Admit Card 2025 

The admit card for REET 2025 will be provided by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education about a couple of weeks in advance. Aspirants will be able to download it from the official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in using the login credentials.

The following are the details mentioned in the admit card: the candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, details regarding examinations, reporting time, and examination center. Along with an admit card, candidates have to take a photo ID into the examination center; without that, they will not be allowed to appear for the test.  The following is the simple procedure to download the REET 2025 Admit Card:

  • Visit Official Website: The candidate shall visit the official website at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and then log in with the credentials.
  • Find Link of Admit Card: On the homepage, the candidates can easily notice the link saying 'Download Admit Card' either on the homepage or under the notifications section.
  • Login Details: Click the link and log in by specifying the registration number along with the date of birth.
  • View Admit Card: On login, a page will open which will display your REET 2025 admit card.
  • Check Details: Check each and every detail mentioned in the admit card to make sure that it is correct in every respect.
  • Download and Print: Now proceed to download the admit card and print a copy of it to carry to the exam center.

REET Answer Key for Level 1 & Level 2 2025

The Board of Secondary Education (BSER) will soon release the provisional answer key for the REET 2025 exam, covering both Level 1 and Level 2, on their official website. Candidates can access and download the answer key using their login details. If candidates find any discrepancies or errors in the provisional answer key, they can raise objections by paying Rs. 300 per question and providing supporting evidence. After considering these objections, the final answer key and exam results will be published. To download the answer key, visit the official website, locate the ‘REET answer key 2025’ link under the ‘Important Downloads’ section, download the PDF, and compare the answers with your responses. The final scorecard will be released along with the final answer key.

Minimum Qualifying Marks Required to Clear REET 2025

It is the minimum qualifying mark that a candidate needs to obtain to pass the examination. There is no cut-off criterion but there are minimum qualifying marks that have to be achieved by candidates to consider them passed in the examination. After securing the qualifying marks, it will issue an Eligibility Certificate to all successful candidates. REET qualifying marks vary category-wise, hence for general and reserved categories such as ST, SC, OBC, MBC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen, Widow, PwD, Sahariya Jan-Jati. REET Result 2025

After the evaluation process, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will declare the REET 2025 Results. Therefore, the result will be issued as a scorecard having marks in front of each candidate's name.
