There is no upper age limit and no maximum number to attempts for the REET 2024 Exam. If the candidates meet both levels of REET Educational Qualification requirements, then it is necessary to apply for the test.
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is the conducting body of the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers well known as REET or Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test. A state-level test, REET exam conducts Level 1 and Level 2 papers. The candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5 needs to give REET Level 1, and the upper primary teachers who want to teach classes 6 to 8 needs to give REET Level 2. Candidates who want teaching jobs in grades 1 to 8 in schools will have to give both level exams. In Rajasthan schools, whoever wants to teach classes 1 to 8 needs to pass the REET Exam in 2024.

According to the REET Eligibility 2024 criteria, candidates of all age groups are eligible to apply for the exam, as there is no upper age limit imposed. This rule applies to all categories of applicants, meaning there is no maximum age restriction for anyone wishing to take the REET exam.

The REET or Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers is open for candidates who are citizens of India, Meaning that the eligibility in applying for this test belongs only to the citizens of India, whereas the non-citizens of India or the foreign nationals cannot participate in REET. This is very important at the pre-requisite stage because the test is used to determine whether a student is fit for teaching professions in the state of Rajasthan, India. In this regard, applicants, upon filing for the examination, may be asked to provide their proof of citizenship through a passport, Aadhar card, or any other government-based documents.
A candidate who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered to have passed the test. The minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility can be relaxed by up to 5% for candidates of reserved categories of SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled.
