The elementary and secondary levels are dealt with at REET Level 1 and Level 2, respectively. The common foundation at both levels consists of child development and pedagogy, including knowledge of child growth, theories of learning and efficient teaching techniques. Level 2 leads to either Social Science or Science and Mathematics while Level 1 further leads to areas like Language Hindi and English, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
