Railway Recruitment Board otherwise known as RRB has again extended the application’s form for RRB ALP Exam 2024. This re-opening is for the Technician posts which began on October 2, 2024, to allow candidates to apply. The rationale for its reopening is the increase of the number of vacancies and new categories added into the list. The candidates earlier registered got the last chance to update RRB preferences and choice of Zonal Railways from October 17 to 21, 2024. For fresh candidates the application was open from October 2 to 26, 2024.

The candidates appearing for RRB ALP 2024 examination also needs to fulfil certain norms set by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). Candidates who qualify CBT 1 will advance to the RRB ALP CBT 2 exam, which is divided into two parts: General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science & Engineering with hundred questions on General Awareness of Current Affairs to be solved in ninety minutes form Part A. Part B concerns trade or discipline of the qualification of the learner, and the thirty questions are to be attempted out of seventy-five offered within sixty minutes.
From Part A of CBT 2, the candidates will be pre-eminent for Computer Based Aptitude Test that would be administered at the ratio of eight to one in respect of number of vacancies. CBAT round constitutes 30 % of the total test while Part A of CBT 2 forms 70% of total score on the examination. The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will upload the RRB ALP admit card for the CBT 1 exam four days before the exam, which may be November 21, 2024. According to the planned timetable, the admit cards will be issued four days prior to the examination, to allow the candidates to download them. Aspirants can enter their user ID and password on the official websites of the RRBs, where the admit card will be published region wise. Moreover, the slip for the city intimation will be made by November 15, 2024. The candidates are suggested to download it from the concerned region they had applied for/and bring along a photo ID with the admit card at the examination center.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) to take the RRB ALP Paper I exam from 25th November to 29th November 2024.
