This is a DESIGN THINKING & IDEATION STEM CHALLENGE
What will we do?
Identify a problem or Ignite an Idea:Necessity is mother of invention. We as STEM enthusiast have to either identify problem or Ignite an Idea.
Empathy: Encouraging kids to understand the needs of the users or the problem they are trying to solve.
It helps to develop empathy by asking questions, observing, and understanding the user's point of view.
Ideation:: Brainstorming ideas to solve the problem statement. Encourage kids to think outside the box
and come up with creative solutions.
Prototyping:Creating a tangible representation of the solution. This can be done using any available
material, including paper, cardboard, or even digital tools.
Testing and feedback:: Testing the prototype and gathering feedback from users. It helps to refine the
solution and identify any issues or areas that need improvement.

What is STEMATHON?
STEMATHON is an exciting and engaging event that promotes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education among students.
It provides a platform for students to showcase their creativity, problemsolving skills, and teamwork while participating in various STEM-related challenges and activities.
To foster interest in STEM subjects among students.
To enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
To encourage teamwork and collaboration.
To provide an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge in realworld scenarios.
To inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in STEM fields.
STEMATHON is open to students from [class 4th to 8th ].
Schools from Pan India are invited to participate.
We encourage both public and private schools to join us for this exciting event.
STEMATHON will be a full-day event, starting at 9 am and ending at 1 pm.
The event will consist of activities, challenges, and competitions related to STEM fields.
Teams of 6-8 students will compete against each other in these activities.
Each team must have a designated teacher or mentor as a point of contact.

Functionality
(15 marks)
Functionality is crucial for evaluating any project. It's about how well the project does what it's supposed to do. We look at how efficient, reliable, and easy it is to get things done with the project. A smoothly functioning project is efficient and dependable, ensuring it consistently meets its goals with ease.
Aesthetics
(15 marks)
Aesthetics are all about how your project looks and feels. It's the visual appeal and design. Good aesthetics create a great first impression and make the project more enjoyable to use. Think of it as the difference between a plain website and one that's beautiful and user-friendly.
Sustainability
(10 marks)
Sustainability is about making sure your project is eco-friendly and built to last. It's all the things that help our environment and ensure the project will stay useful for a long time. People like projects that are good for the planet and can be relied upon.
Market Potential
(10 marks)
Market potential is about whether your project can succeed in the real world. We look at whether there's demand for it, how it compares to others, if it can grow, and if it's a good opportunity. This helps us make smart choices about where to focus our efforts and resources.
